Four Seasons Westlake Village is nestled in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains, situated between Los Angeles, Malibu’s vineyards, fabulous beaches, and Santa Barbara. It’ll take approximately 1 hour to drive from Los Angeles, 20 minutes from Malibu, and 1 hour and 10 minutes from Santa Barbara.
This location is a hidden gem, and it’s fantastic news that Four Seasons allows you to stay at the perfect spot between the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, where you can enjoy the beauty of nature visible from your windows.
As a 5-star resort, Four Seasons is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience, blending luxury, comfort, and a deep connection with nature. Speaking of the views — they are stunning! I believe they’re among the best I’ve ever seen, you’ll feel the same if you’re a nature lover. Spending time with such beautiful views is incredibly inspiring and energizing.
The Room
I had the pleasure of staying in a Waterfall-view room. Its standout feature is the captivating view of the waterfall with the Santa Monica Mountains in the background. Truly speechless! I could literally watch it for hours, it’s so relaxing and visually pleasing.
The beds at Four Seasons are simply the best, ensuring a restful sleep. The luxurious style of the rooms immerses you in endless aesthetics. Additionally, the rooms come with a well-stocked mini bar — I enjoyed a great cocktail with gin and lavender bitters. Highly recommended for your 5 o’clock!
The overall design is so luxurious and wonderful that I would already deem it the most luxuriously designed room!

The Best Restaurant in Westlake Village at Four Seasons
For the best dinner experience, book a table at Coin & Candor Restaurant. Expect outstanding culinary delights crafted from locally sourced ingredients and cooked using wood-fired techniques. During my dinner, I savored a signature dish: Baja Red Snapper, along with Big Eye Tuna, Octopus, and Pavlova dessert. All of them received a solid 5-star rating from me! Additionally, to my surprise, they also served a complimentary locally made bread with butter…I was speechless. I never imagined I could fall in love with bread and butter, as I don’t usually eat them, but I even would return just for them!
Quick tip: You can never go wrong with a dinner reservation at Four Seasons restaurants, and Coin & Candor is no exception! The food is a solid 10/10!
And of course, feel free to order in-room service, allowing you to savor your meals comfortably in your robe in the morning.
